"I've used a tens unit with wires for years. I use it for a few days and then put it back in the box because I get tired of dealing with the wires and getting shocked by them when they get pulled apart. The pads also don't seem to shock you like those little 2 inch square pads. I like turning it WAY up and the chirp has plenty of power. This unit lasts around an hour or so on one charge. I've used it on my hip and back and haven't had a problem with them coming loose from the pad."
