How does it Work?
Put simply, the Chirp Wheel puts pressure on the muscles surrounding the spine, stretching and strengthening those muscles while elongating the spine.
Is it different than a foam roller?
Yes. The Chirp wheel is different in two main ways:
- The 5” width applies pressure only where it’s needed.
- Different wheel sizes to apply different levels of pressure.
Is it FSA/HSA Eligible?

The Chirp Wheel puts pressure on the muscles surrounding the spine. In doing so, the muscles and joints are stretched and strengthened.

WAYS TO USE THE CHIRP WHEEL
1. BACK ROLL
12”, 10”, or 6” Wheel
Sit down, align the wheel with the center of your back, press your lower-mid back into the wheel, then lift your hips. Use your legs to help you roll back and forth to massage the muscles along your back and experience the benefits of fascia release and spinal traction.

2. WALL ROLL
10", 6", or 4" Wheel
Stand up, place the wheel behind you on your lower back, and lean into the wall so the wheel is between your beck and the wall. Now, simply keep your weight towards the wheel, and bend your knees in a squat and rise. Repeat until satisfied and tension-less.
3. NECK MASSAGE & STRETCH
6" or 4" Wheel
It’s time for savasana - with a neck massage. Lay down, place the 6” or 4” wheel under your neck (align the groove with the center of your neck), and relax. For extra relief, nod your head slowly in up-and-down (“yes” motion) and side-to-side (“no” motion).
4. LEG MASSAGE
6" or 4" Wheel
Sit down, place the 6” or 4” wheel under an area of your leg (hamstring or calf area) that you want to roll out, then use your hands to help lift your body off the ground, and roll back and forth, massaging the muscles resting on the wheel.
5. IT BAND & GLUTE MASSAGE
6" or 4" Wheel
To massage your IT band, start in a side plank position, place the 6” or 4” wheel under the side of your thigh, and use your opposite leg to rock you back and forth. To massage your glutes, sit on the wheel (one muscle at a time) and rock back and forth.

Each wheel size is great for its own reason. We have 4 standard wheels. As you move down in size, there is more pressure on your back. Making our 6” wheel a great wheel if you are looking for a deep tissue massage. On the other end of the spectrum, the 12” wheel is a great wheel for stretching and is very gentle on your back. However you need something right in the middle, the 10” is perfect for you. With our 4” wheel, it is the perfect size for your neck. We highly recommend our 4 wheel pack that gives you a chance to experiment with what you like and develop your own routine!

The Chirp Wheel puts pressure on the muscles surrounding the spine. In doing so, the muscles are stretched and strengthened. The technical term for this is Myofascial Release. Myofascial is a fancy word for muscle, and release is referring to the tension within the muscle.
There are two main differences -- width and pressure.
1. All Chirp Wheels are 5" wide. This width is perfect for putting the pressure where it is needed along the spine and between the shoulder blades. A foam roller just steamrolls the whole area with no real focus.
2. Chirp Wheels come in 4 sizes (diameters) -- 12" 10" 6" and 4”. Due to the size change, the area in contact with the muscles at any given point provides a different amount of pressure. Think wearing high heels in the snow vs. actual snowshoes.

The Chirp Wheel+ has a rigid core made of an injection molded ABS plastic and is wrapped in EVA foam.
Due to the rigid core of the Chirp Wheel, each wheel can hold up to 500lbs. And if the wheel breaks, we have a 10 year warranty!
